Tsukesage
(Simple Homongi)
附下げは訪問着に準ずる正装です。絵柄は、訪問着のような続き柄(絵羽模様)ではありません。基本的には家紋も付けません。附下げは略式訪問着と考えられ、訪問着と同様に茶会やパーティに使えます。
Tsukesage is an alternative form which is equivalent to Homongi. However,
Tsukesage is considered even simpler and more casual version. Therefore,
it doesn't have seamless drawing pattern or family emblem unlike Homongi
does. It still can be worn for tea ceremony and party dress. |
附下げ１(Tsukesage1)
母から茶会用に贈られたものです。
着物の柄は雪の結晶で、江戸千家家元の家紋雪輪に因んだものです。
It is a gift from my mother for the tea ceremony
The pattern of snow crystals on this Tsukesage represent
the emblem of the head family of my mother's tea school.
帯(Obi)
正式な着物や帯には縞柄はあまり使いませんが、
この場合は色彩を優先させました。
Usually, this kind of striped patterns is not used for formal wear.
However, I liked its look and feel so I chose it.
附下げ２(Tsukesage2)
これも母から贈られたものです。
この色と柄行が好きで、茶会や初釜にしばしば着ました。
This one also was given by my mother to me.
I really like the whole mood and color of it and have worn often for
the first tea ceremony of the year, not to mention on a regular basis.
帯(Obi)
この帯は、母がこの着物用に選び、プレゼントしてくれたものです。
My mother recommended and gave this Obi to me for this Tsukesage.
附下3 （Tsukesage3)
この附下は、夫の母から贈られたものです。
色彩も柄行も地味なので、今までは着る機会がありませんでした。
This one was presented by my mother in law.
I hardly put it on because of its 'a little too dim' color and design.
帯（Obi)
もしこの着物を着る機会があれば、この帯をあわせたいと思います。
If I have an opportunity to wear this Tsukesage, I would like to tie
this Obi for it.
